JOB DESCRIPTION

A Vehicle and Vehicle Part Assembler is responsible for assembling various components to create complete vehicles or individual vehicle parts. This role involves working in manufacturing settings, using hand tools, power tools, and machinery to ensure the accurate and efficient assembly of vehicles or vehicle components.

QUALIFICATIONS

No academic qualifications are required. In some cases candidates must take aptitude and dexterity tests. Normal colour vision is required for some jobs. Training varies according to the complexity of the work.

TASKS

  • Assemble vehicle components such as chassis, engines, transmissions, and other parts to create complete vehicles..
  • Follow assembly instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to ensure proper configuration..
  • Install vehicle parts and components, including interior features, electrical systems, and exterior elements..
  • Ensure proper alignment, fit, and functionality of each part..
  • Inspect finished vehicles or vehicle parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications..

  • Handle and position vehicle components accurately for assembly..
